My Simple Homemade Chili Recipe

Ingredients: 2 pounds ground beef 85% lean, 1 can black beans, 1 can red beans, 1 can corn, 1 whole onion diced, 1 whole tomato diced, 2 TBSP tomato paste, 1/2 TBSP oregano, 1/2 TBSP black pepper, 1/2 TBSP turmeric, 1/2 TBSP cumin, 1 cube chicken bouillon OR 32 oz chicken broth, 1/2 TBSP salt, 1 TBSP red pepper, 1/2 TBSP chili powder/seasoning, 1/2 TBSP garlic powder, 1/2 TBSP onion powder, less than 1 tsp sugar.

Steps:

1. Boil ground beef until it turns brown. Dump into strainer and return to pot.

2. Add water up to the height of the beef in the pot. Add black and red beans, corn, tomato, tomato paste, onion, and chicken broth (if using chicken bouillon then ignore chicken broth). Let boil for 5 minutes.

3. Add all remaining seasonings. Let boil for 10-15 minutes on medium-low.

*You can also transfer to a slow cooker/crockpot for a few hours to make it more tasty!
