Quick and easy special Nihari | Mutton Nihari Recipe By Chilli To Chop | Nihari Recipe

Ingredients for Nihari 

Mutton       2 kg
Ginger garlic paste      2 1/2 tbsp
Oil      1&1/2cup
Cloves.        5-6
Cinammon pieces.  5-6
Black cardamom 3-4
Salt.      1tbsp
Red pepper powder.     1/2 tbsp
Black pepper powder.   1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder           1/2 tbsp
Funnel seeds              1/2 tbsp
Garam masala/ Ground spices 1/2 tbsp
Ginger chopped 2tbsp
Dilhi nihari masala.   2 1/2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Asafoetida powder/ Hing 1/2tsp
Fried onion 2-3 tbsp
Whole Wheat Flour    1&1/2 cup
Gram flour 2tbsp

Directions:

Step 1: Mix whole wheat and gram flour and then add on the preheated pan and heat/ roast until brown. Then add water as required until thin paste is formed.

Step 2: In cooker, add oil heat it then add ginger garlic paste until it turns light brown. Then add cinnamon, cloves, and black cardamom and fry it for one minute on low flame. After that add mutton and cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame. Then add tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes, then add spices salt, black pepper, red pepper, fennel seeds,turmeric and cook for 10 minutes then add water and whistle it for 20 minutes.

Step 3: After that add this mixture into the pressure cooker and continuously mix with a spoon.

Step 4: Now add lemon juice, Nihari Masala, and Asafoetida powder/ Hing and give it a good mix.

Step 5: Tarka
In oil, add ginger, fry it until brown, then add brown onion, and garam masala/ ground spices. Then settle some tarka oil on Nihari.

Ready to serve.
