This channel is about a regular mom practicing taekwondo. I have really enjoyed taking taekwondo lessons with my children over the past few years and I would like improve each of these skills – as well as be able to actually remember them on test day!
I wonder if this type of channel might be interesting to other moms who enjoy taekwondo or useful for parents who are trying to help their children practice the forms for taekwondo testing.
A little about me:
I have taken taekwondo lessons with my kids for a few years now and have really enjoyed it. It’s something I always wanted to try, but somehow just didn’t get around to it sooner. My goal for this channel – and for taekwondo – is to track progress over time, rather than wait for perfect opportunities or guaranteed success. It’s definitely a work in progress.

The name of my channel is Calendar Girl, because like many moms I feel like I’m always trying to beat the calendar. Like everyone, I’ve got a lot going on, but I also want to learn new things and try new hobbies. Recently I’ve been learning taekwondo. So now I have a taekwondo hobby. And now I’m thinking about calling the channel moms taekwondo, taekwondo mom (or taekwondo moms), or calendar girl taekwondo. Or maybe mom hobbies or simply try something new. Anyway, this is a good way for me to practice taekwondo, memorize taekwondo forms – or at least remember taekwondo forms (for the most part). It’s a new way for me to practice taekwondo. Its so fun to learn taekwondo. I’ve always enjoyed personal development and personal growth, so this is (tae kwon do plus you tube) is just another avenue. I also use it as a form of exercise. I wonder if moms taking taekwondo lessons would enjoy this or whether it would be useful for parents helping kids learn taekwondo forms – even helping their kid prepare for taekwondo test.
