Ingredients:
1. Medium size Shrimp 500g (29-30pcs approx.)
2. Β½ tsp salt (taste)
3. 1 tsp black pepper powder
4. Β½ tsp garlic paste
5. Β½ tsp ginger paste
6. 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
7. Beaten egg Β½
8. 3 tbsp all purpose flour
9. 1.5 tbsp corn flour
10. Β½- 1 cup Oil for frying
11. 1 tbsp oil
12. 3 tsp finely chopped garlic
13. 2 tsp finely chopped ginger
14. 2 dried red chilli sliced
15. 4 green chilli sliced
16. Β½ of a big onion sliced
17. A pinch of salt and pepper
18. 2 tbsp julienned carrot
19. Β½ of a medium green bell pepper sliced
20. Β½ of a small red or orange bell pepper sliced
21. Some chopped cilantro (coriander)
22. Some chopped spring onions
Method:
1. Mix Shrimp with the item (2-9) from the above list
2. Marinate 15 minutes
3. Heat oil for frying
4. Fry shrimps in batches
5. Fry on medium heat for 4 minutes or so
6. Remove from the oil and set aside
7. In a wok heat 1 tbsp oil
8. Add chopped garlic, ginger
9. Stir add red chilli and green chilli sliced
10. Add carrot, green bell pepper, red bell pepper
11. Add a pinch of salt and pepper
12. Stir 1-2 minute on medium heat
13. Add fried shrimps
14. Stir fry few seconds
15. Add 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp chilli sauce and 1 tbsp vinegar
16. Stir-fry 1-2 minute
17. Turn off the heat
18. Add some chopped cilantro and chopped spring onions
19. Give a good stir to mix everything
20. Serve hot with Chinese egg fried rice or white rice
21. Serve 4 people
