Mirch Pakoda Recipe | Chilli Fritters Recipe | Brisk Kitchen

Ingredients
Besan – 200 gm
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Hing – 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Corn flour – 1 teaspoon
Water – 150 ml
Oil – 4 tablespoons
Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds – 1 tablespoon
Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste – 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves – 12
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Mashed boiled potatoes – 500 gm
Chopped coriander – 2 tablespoons
Large chillies
Oil for deep frying

Preparation
Besan Batter
In a mixing bowl add besan, chilli powder, salt, hing, turmeric powder, corn flour and water. Mix well. Keep the batter aside.

Aloo Stuffing
In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds, coriander seeds, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, curry leaves, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, mashed boiled potatoes and chopped coriander. Mix well.

Pakoda
Slit large chillies half way in, along the centre and fill each with the aloo stuffing. Dip in besan batter and deep fry.
