What’s YOUR favorite chili recipe?
I picked up Myron Mixon’s “KETO BBQ” book recently and this recipe grabbed my attention right away. I decided to use Myron’s recipe and then simmer the chili on the Kamado Joe with the lid cracked to bring some extra smoke to the party. The results were amazing! Here’s the ingredients list for this chili:
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup of diced onion
1 cup diced green bell pepper
1 jalapeno pepper, finely diced
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups (about 12 ounces) pulled smoked chicken
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
4 cups chicken broth
14 ounces chopped green chiles
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup cream cheese
Salt to taste
