WRITTEN RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
• Oil 3/4 cup
• chicken boneless (stripes) 500 gm
• ginger garlic paste 1.5 tbsp
• all spice powder 1.5 tsp
• cumin powder 2 tsp
• salt as per taste
• turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
• chili flakes 1 tbsp
• chili powder 1 tsp
• tomatoes 2 medium (chopped)
• eggs 2 (beaten)
• green chilies 3 (halved)
• peas (boiled) 1/2 cup
• carrots 2 fine julienne
• capsicum 1 fine julienne
• yogurt 1/2 cup
• fresh coriander chopped 1/4 bunch
• lemon slices of 1 lemon large
• fresh mint leaves 1/4 bunch
FOR RICE:
• Rice 3 cups (soaked for 20mins)
• Salt
• bay leaves 2
METHOD:
• In a pot add 3/4 cup oil
• chicken boneless (stripes) 500 gm
• Add ginger garlic paste 1.5 tbsp
• mix well cook until changes color
• when water completely dries add all spice powder 1.5 tsp, cumin powder 2 tsp, salt as per taste, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, chili flakes 1 tbsp, chili powder 1 tsp
• Mix well and add tomatoes 2 medium (chopped)
• mix well cover n cook for 4 -5 mins
• when tomatoes are soft and cooked
• Add eggs 2 (beaten)
• Dont stir immediately let it sit for a while then add green chilies 3 (halved), peas (boiled) 1/2 cup, carrots 2 fine julienne , capsicum 1 fine julienne
• Add yogurt 1/2 cup mix well and let it cook until oil separates
• when oil separates flame off add fresh coriander chopped 1/4 bunch, lemon slices of 1 lemon large, fresh mint leaves 1/4 bunch
• In another pot add water ,salt and 2 bay leaves
• let it boil
• When water starts to boil add rice 3 cups (presoaked)
• cook as per biryani rice are cooked (until 1 kanni remains)
• strain rice when cookd 90%
• put rice on top of prepared chicken
• simmer on low flame for 10-15 mins (give daam)
