Fish and Taro Recipe Stew and Gravy

Ingredients
• 1 large Mullet fish or any fish of your choice
• 1 Small taro
• Cilantro/Coriander Bunch
• 1 Large onion chopped
• 3-4 cloves garlic minced
• 1 tbs fish sauce
• 1-2 cups of plain flour (optional) season with black pepper and salt
• 2 x Red Chillies chopped
• 1 table spoon dark soy sauce
• 1/4 cup of oil
• 2 X 8g Magic Sarap Sachet (use 1 tbs chicken salt if Magic Sarap is not available)
• 2-3 cups of water
Steps
1. Peeled Taro and chop in small and thin slices
2. Clean, Wash and pat dry the fish
3. Cover fish with seasoned flour
4. Add oil to the pan and start frying the fish on both sides until it’s lightly brown
5. Add onions, chopped chillies and garlic and keep stirring for few minutes
6. Slowly add water and taro and let it simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat
7. Keep stirring the fish and taro then add dark soy sauce.
8. Once the taro and fish are cooked through
9. Add coriander/cilantro and turn off the oven
10. Taste and season with pepper and salt if needed and garnish with more coriander!!
