Details –

Take 400gms boneless Chicken pieces and add 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce.
Now add 1 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
1 egg
Salt (as per taste)
2 tbsp Corn Flour. You can add more later if required.
Now its time to add a dash of Sesame Oil. Not much but a teaspoon.
Now coat the chicken pieces well. Its always better to keep it marinated for 15-20 mins. However, I didn’t have time and fried it immediately.
Now heat a pan and add some Oil for frying the chicken pieces. You can use oil of your choice.
Now add the chicken pieces one by one into the hot Oil. Be careful with that though.
Cook this side on medium heat for 2-3 mins.
Time to flip them over to fry the other side.
Fry this side similarly for a few more mins till you get a nice and golden color.
Once the chicken is nice and golden. Time to take them out in a platter.
Reduce excess oil and add 1 tbsp chopped garlic
Saute till you get that nice aroma of garlic.
Once the garlic is nice and golden, its time to add 3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup.
Now add 2 to 3 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
Add 1 tbsp brown sugar. You can add more based on your taste. However, I would recommend keeping it low.
Give a good mix.
Add 1 cup Chicken Stock. You can add normal water as well if you don’t have chicken stock handy with you.
Once the water starts to boil add 2 to 3 tbsp Cornstarch slurry
A quick stir
Now add the chicken pieces
Adjust the salt. Mix it well.
Lower the flame. Whisk an egg add it into the gravy.
A quick stir. Cook on low heat for a min or two.
Now its time to adjust the sugar. This is completely optional. If yo like it hot then you can keep it the way it is.
A final stir and serve it hot.
