Mommas Chili

Healthy easy chili for a cold winter night!! Cool the onions first on low then add garlic and meat to brown, then add all the other ingredients. Fresh garlic is optional and I sub the water for chicken broth but watch the salt if you do that!!! Serve it with some chopped onions, cheddar cheese and some mustard or sour cream for extra flavor. You can even put it over French fries, a baked potato or some crackers!!! Enjoy!!!

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
28 oz crushed tomatoes
1 Tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 cups kidney beans
2 cups water
