Hi friends , welcome to my youtube channel . In this video we will see how to make kadai paneer at home. Kadai Paneer Recipe is very popular in restaurants . Kadai Paneer is one of the most common paneer gravies. It is extremely flavorful and delicious. Kadai Paneer gets its flavor from the freshly ground masala powder, basically the paneer is cooked in a tomato and onion based gravy with special spice powder known as kadai masala. the spice powder adds a unique flavor and taste to the curry compared to the other paneer curries. Restaurant style kadai paneer has a silky smooth base which is filled with flavor and the added pieces of paneer . . This famous dhaba style recipe can be easily made at home in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

For kadai masala

1 tbsp Coriander seeds
4-3 Kashmiri Red Chilli
1 tsp Peppercorns
Cinnamon – 2 inch piece
Bay Leaf – 2 nos.
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Clove – 2 nos.

To fry Paneer
Butter/ghee
Paneer

To Make Fried Onion & Capsicum
Oil -1 tsp
Onion – 1 No. (cut into cubes)
Capsicum – 1 no. (cut into cubes)

Ground onion & tomato paste
Oil – 1 tbsp
Garlic – 8 cloves
Ginger – 2 inch piece
Onion – 1 nos.
Tomato – 3 nos. (chopped)

To Make Kadai Paneer
Oil – 1 tbsp
ghee – 2tsp
Ground onion & tomato paste
Ground masala powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
Kashmiri Chili Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Water – 1 1/2 cups
Fresh Cream – 2 tbsp
Kasuri Methi

Method:-
For Kadai masala
Take a pan.
Add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, Kashmiri red chilli, peppercorn and Cinnamon,
Bay Leaf, Cumin Seeds, Clove
Dry roast it till you get a nutty aroma.
Let it cool and grind it into fine powder.

Heat some oil in a kadai and fry the paneer pieces
. Take them out once they are golden brown in color, keep them aside

To a pan add oil, onion and capsicum and saute the vegetables for 2 mins.
To the same kadai add oil, ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes, salt and saute them well
Cook these for 5-8 mins on medium flame.
Once they are cooked well, let them cool and grind it to a fine paste

To the kadai, add oil and ghee Then add the ground masala paste and some water. Bring it to a boil. After the masala gravy thickens, salt, chili powder, and the ground masala powder. Once the gravy thickens and oil separates, add the fried onion and capsicum wedges.
add water and keep the flame on medium..Close and cook the gravy
oil separates, add fried paneer.
add fresh cream and some crushed kasoori methi
mix everything and turn off the flame
add coriander leaves with garnishing
