COOKING CHILI OUTSIDE! | HOME COOKING CHILI & QUESADILLAS ON THE GRILL

Hey family!! In today’s video we’re cooking some chili outside with the snow! 🤣⛄ We planned on cooking some meals outside because we expected to lose power. Well, the power stayed with us, but we still wanted to cook outside! LOL! 🤣

Chili Recipe:
Read Notes in recipe.😉
Ingredients:
3 pounds ground beef
8 strips bacon, cut into small peices
2 onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
green bell pepper, chopped
red bell pepper, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
salt & pepper to taste
2 cans fire roasted tomatoes NOTE: These are not spicy, I guess the word “fire” makes people think that!🤣 They are literally just tomatoes roasted over a fire. That doesn’t make them spicy.😉 The only things spicy in this chili were the two litte jalapeño peppers and the 1 can of mildly spicy Ro-Tel. Add in all the other ingredients, and there isn’t much spiciness at all. Especially cooking for nearly three hours, the peppers cooked down and weren’t even spicy anymore. I added red pepper flakes to my bowl to give it some spice.😆
1 can Ro-Tel
1/2 jar roasted red peppers
2 cans kidney beans, drained
4 cups beef stock, or broth

Heat pot, or Dutch oven, and cook bacon. Add the vegetables and ground beef, cook until meat is done. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 1-2 hours.
