After a year since my last egg bake video I felt I needed to update my perfected recipe. It’s very easy to make with few, inexpensive ingredients, all of which are available at your local Trader Joe’s.
GREEN CHILI EGG BAKE RECIPE
Ingredients:
– 6 Large Eggs
– Half a tub of Sour Cream
– 3/4 Bag of Tater Tots
– 2 small cans of green chilies
– 3/4 bag of shredded cheese (any kind you like)
– Seasonings (salt, pepper, onion salt, spice)
Instructions:
– Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pyrex with canola, coconut, or avocado oil. Spread an even layer of tater tots on the bottom. Next add the cans of green chilies. Then sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese.
– In a separate bowl mix the sour cream, eggs and seasonings together until completely smooth. Pour the mix and evenly distribute as the top and final layer.
– Cook in the oven for 40-45 minutes, until cheese is slightly browned on top and sides have started to brown.
