Anda Pulao
Ingredients for Chicken Preparation:
Chicken strips 500 g
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
Oil (for frying) 2 tbsp.

Ingredients for Anda Pulao:
Guard Basmati Rice 2 ½ cups
Water (for soaking) as required
Oil 1/2 cup
Whole garam masala 1 tbsp.
Onion (cubes) 1/2 cup
Green chilies 2-3
Carrot (cubes) 1 cup
Capsicum (cubes) 1 cup
Green beans (chopped) 1 cup
Peas 1 cup
Cabbage (chopped) 1 cup
Cooked chicken
Water 3 cups
Salt 1/2 tbsp.
Rice (soaked)
Egg 4

Directions for Chicken Preparation:
1. In a bowl chicken, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and mix well. Marinate for 3-5 minutes.
2. In a pan heat oil and add marinated chicken, cook until water dries out and fully done. Set aside.
Directions for Anda Pulao Preparation:
3. In a bowl add Guard Basmati Rice and water, soak for 20-25 minutes.
4. In a pot heat oil add whole garam masala and cook for a minute over medium low flame.
5. Add onion and cook until soft. Add carrot, capsicum, peas, green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes.
6. Add cooked chicken, green chilies and give it a good mix.
7. Add water and bring it to simmer. Add soaked rice and salt. Cook until 80% water dries out.
8. Add eggs and cover and steam on low flame for 15-18 minutes.
9. Take off steam and serve. Anda Pulao is ready.
