Pork Chili Verde Recipe
Salsa Verde Ingredients:
1 onion
3 jalapenos
1 large pablano pepper
8-10 medium tomatillos
3 cloves garlic
(peel, chop, and de seed veg… leave some pepper seeds if you like it spicy!)
Drizzle Veg with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Roast prepped veg at 400 F degrees for 20 min. While still hot, place all veg in a blender and blend on medium speed until smooth. (*optional add 1 bunch of cilantro)
Pork Chili Verde:
1 1/2 lbs cooked shredded pork shoulder
Shred pork into a large pot on the stove, crisp it up over medium heat and adjust seasoning to preference. Add salsa verde (see above), and 1 cup of chicken stock. Cook on stove until heated through.
Top with favorite add ons (EX: sour cream, cheese, fresh cilantro, avocado, pico de gallo)
