This week I took to the kitchen to make a giant vat of my famous woodsman’s chili! We love to do this a couple times a year. This time we are planning on freezing meal sized portions to enjoy over the next couple of months, but the next time we make this, we will be canning it for long term storage. This was done a week before Christmas and my wife had no intention of canning anything. So the freezer it is!
This chili is a mixology that I have developed over many years and every time I make it , it just gets more and more delicious. This batch was no exception! Add what you like, take away what you don’t, make this your own to suit your personal preferences.
