@Spiced Nice
🍗1.5 lbs chicken wings
🍗1/2 tbsp baking powder
🍗1/2 tbsp cornstarch
🍗1/2 tsp chili powder
🍗1 tsp garlic powder
🍗1/2 tsp ginger powder
🍗1/2 tsp black pepper
🍗1 1/4 tsp salt
🍗1/2 tsp brown sugar
🍗4 tbsp unsalted butter
🍗2 tsp minced garlic
🍗1 tbsp sriracha or chili sauce of choice
🍗1/4 cup honey
🍗1/8 tsp salt
🍗Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
1. Lay the wings out flat and pat them dry with a paper towel. Get them as dry as possible so they’re extra crispy! In a small bowl, mix together the baking powder, cornstarch, chili powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, black pepper, salt, and brown sugar. Toss the spice mix and the wings together now then lay the wings out flat again. Let them sit for at least 10 minutes.
2. Grease the air-fryer tray well, then air fry at 375°F for 8 mins on each side, then turn the heat up to 400°F and air fry for another 4 mins or until crispy. While they’re cooking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes or until it’s softened. Pour in the chili sauce, honey, and a pinch of salt. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce and garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately!
