This time I try to make a spicy chili and some cornbread at the campfire. I use some parts from my Trangia and my little skillet.
Recipes:
Campfire Chili – 2 servings – 60 minutes
– 1 Red onion
– 1 Red bell pepper
– 2 garlic cloves
– 1 red chili
– 2 tomatos
– 100 g ground beef
– 1 cup red kidney beans
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 2 tsp bbq sauce
– 1/3 can of beer
– juice of 1/2 lime
– ancho chili powder
– chipotle chili powder
– cumin powder
– rosmary
– oregano
– basil
– salt
– pepper
– tbsp pickled onions/serving
Cornbread – 2 servings – 20 minutes
– 1/2 cup corn flour
– 1/2 cup all purpose flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 3 tsp sugar
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 1/2 tbsp dehydrated milk
– 1 egg
– 1/2 cup water
– butter for the skillet
