I was craving spicy small octopus so much 😆

Recipe:

about 300g small octopus (i used frozen octopus)
1 1/2 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp gochugaru
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cooking wine
1/2 tbsp crushed garlic
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp corn syrup or honey
1/2 tbsp crushed ginger
ground black pepper
1/2 onion
1 scallion
1/2 red or green chili pepper

1) Add 1 tbsp cooking wine and a pinch of salt to boiling water and blanch the small octopus only for about 10 seconds.

2) Cook somyeon noodles (Korean wheat noodles) for 3-4 minutes. Wash the noodles thoroughly under cold water (it helps to get rid of the starch) and set them aside.

3) Mix gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, crushed garlic, corn syrup, sugar, crushed ginger, and black pepper in a bowl. Add the blanched octopus and stir well.

4) Slice onion, scallion, and chili pepper. Start by stir-frying the sliced onion and scallion for 1-2 minutes. Add the marinated octopus and stir-fry for only 3-5 minutes. Add the sliced chili pepper.

5) Serve with the noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy! 🥰
