Hello my dear friends!

With all the snow we have been getting, I’ve been craving something warm and hearty. My homemade chili definitely hit the spot! Pair this with some cheddar cheese, fresh red onion and sour cream and you will be transported to a chili wonderland. Add some cream cheese and you have yourself a killer dip! I used grass fed hormone-free beef in this recipe so in my opinion it already is healthy, but by all means use ground turkey instead of beef if you so desire.

1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Large Onion, Diced
1 Red Bell Pepper, Seeded and Diced
1 Green Pepper, Seeded and Diced
6 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
½ Italian Parsley, Chopped
¾ Cup Red Wine
2 Cups Diced Tomato’s
32 oz. Beef Broth
1 15 oz. Can Black Beans, Drained and Rinsed
1 15 oz. Can Red Kidney Beans, Drained and Rinsed
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 Teaspoon Paprika
1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper to Taste
