DESI STYLE CHICKEN CHILI

INGREDIENTS

MARINATION OF CHICKEN
• Chicken 700g
• Red chili powder 2tsp
• Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
• Salt
OTHER INGREDIENTS
• Onion 2 cut into cubes
• Oil
• Capsicum 1 big cut into cubes
• Red chili powder
• Ginger chopped 2tsp
• Garlic chopped 2-3tbsp
• Curry leaves
• Red chili powder 2tsp
• Coriander powder 1tbsp
• Roasted cumin powder 2tsp
• Tomato ketchup ½ cup
• Chili garlic sauce 2tbsp or chili sauce
• Soy sauce 1tbsp
• Vinegar 1tbsp
• Corn flour 1tbsp
• Garam masala powder 1tsp
• Spring onion whites and greens

DIRECTIONS

1. Marinate chicken with salt, red chili powder and ginger garlic paste for 10min and shallow fry chicken at high flame and keep aside.
2. To same kadai add ginger- garlic chopped, sauté until golden brown, add curry leaves.
3. Now add spring onion white part and onion, sauté until translucent, then add capsicum, mix for a minute
4. Now add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, mix everything well
5. Add tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce and vinegar, mix well for a minute
6. Add chicken pieces, mix for a minute or two.
7. Now add fried chicken, mix
8. Add water and let chicken cook.
9. To thicken gravy, add corn flour slurry (1tbsp corn flour+ 1/4cup water), cook for 3–4 minutes
10. Now add garam masala powder, cook for a minute
11. Garnish with spring onion greens.
