Super tasty chilli & mockamole recipe | gluten free

Hello All
Welcome back for another recipe and if this is the first video you’ve seen of mine, welcome to the Kitchen Spy, I’m Kate 🙂
This is a fab recipe and one we make all the time in this house, really tasty and filling too, just right for a cosy night in right now, but perfectly great to eat in the summer too, when I’d serve it with salad. Both recipes are gluten free as prepared here, the chilli will serve 4 generously and the mockamole for these ingredients will serve 2 people, it will easily double to make more.
The mockamole is a really tasty dish, which can be used as a cold side salsa type thing as it is here or even as a dip. So low in calories too.
The mockamole recipe starts at 8:56 if you want to jump straight to that.
I’ve listed the ingredients for both below and if you give it a go, please be sure to let me know in the comments, it would be great to hear how you found the recipes.
For my specific ingredients the mockamole was 32 calories per portion and the chilli was 264 calories, I served it with rice so the plate you see here was 439 calories in total.

Chilli – Serves 4
500g/17oz Minced beef (ground beef)
200g/7oz chopped onions
300ml/half a pint beef stock (I used a Knorr stock cube)
400g/14oz can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
200g/7oz mushrooms sliced
400g/14oz can of chopped tomatoes
Tabasco to taste
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce (I used gluten free)
1 tsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 big chillies, I left the seeds in one and removed them from the other, chopped finely
1.5 tsp cumin
1.5 tsp chilli powder, I used hot but any will do, just to your taste
1 tsp paprika (not smoked)
Salt and pepper

Mockamole – serves 2
125g/4oz Asparagus tips, cooked slightly more than you would normally, so they are a bit droopy 🙂
1/2 chilli deseeded and chopped
Juice of 1 lime
2 cloves of garlic
6 cherry tomatoes, quartered
Salt and pepper
