Mantu:
Ingredients For Sauce:
Yogurt (whisked) 1 cup
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper ½ tsp
For Lentil Topping:
Oil 4-5 tbsp
Fried onion 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Tomato paste 1 ½ tbsp.
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Split bengal gram 1 cup
Water ½ cup
For Mince:
Oil 2-3 tbsp
Beef mince 300 gm
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tsp
Fried onions 2 (medium)
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
All spice powder 1 tsp
Tomatoes 2
Salt to taste
Green chilies (chopped) 4
Mint leaves (chopped) ½ cup
Fresh coriander ½ cup
For Dumpling’s Dough:
Flour 2 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Water as required
Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
For Serving:
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
Method:
In a bowl mix all the sauce ingredients. For the lentil topping heat oil add fried onion, ginger garlic, turmeric powder, tomato paste, red chili powder, salt and split Bengal gram. Cook well. Now add water and cook for another 2 minutes. For mince heat oil in a wok add fried onion, mince beef and ginger garlic paste. Cook well. Then add tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, all spice powder and salt. Now add fresh coriander. For dumplings in a bowl add flour, salt and coriander. Mix and knead the dough well. Leave it for a while. Then spread the dough evenly and cut with a cutter. Now add mince filling and seal properly. Then steam well. In the end serve hot with yogurt sauce, red chili flakes and fresh coriander.
Lemony Baked Potato:
Ingredients:
Potatoes 3
Salt, pepper to taste
Butter 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 4 tbsp
Method:
Roast the potatoes in an oven. Then cut the slices. Now add lemon juice, salt, pepper and butter. Roast again and serve hot.
Creamy Pesto Pasta:
Ingredients For Sauce:
Garlic 3
Almond nuts ½ cup
Fresh basil leaves 2 cup
Oil ½ cup
Cheese (grated) ½ cup
Salt, pepper to taste
Remaining Ingredients:
Basil pesto 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Heavy cream ÂĽ cup
Salt, pepper to taste
Pasta (cooked) 1 packet
Method:
For the sauce in a blender mix all the ingredients and blend well. Then heat oil add basil pesto, sauce and cook well. Now add pasta, salt and pepper. Mix properly. Then add cream, mix well and serve hot.
