Absolutely loveee how this turned out 🤤 Presenting part-1 of Vegan Bean Chili (my version) 🫘 served with cheesy Doritos, sour cream and cheese 🧀 Neeed I say more 🤤 😋
Recipe below 👇 ( serves 2-3)
Ingredients for chilli –
1. 1 cup Kidney beans or chilli beans 🫘
2. 1 cup Black beans
3. Tomato purée (about 2-3 medium sized for this recipe) 🍅
4. Garlic (3-4 big cloves chopped)
Spices –
Oregano
Red chili flakes
Pepper
Red chili powder
Cumin powder
Garam masala (optional but adds a good flavor )
Sugar (1-pinch). Definitely add this to balance the flavors
Salt as per taste
Recipe-
1. Sauté garlic and cumin seeds in oil till the garlic slightly turns brown
2. Add the tomato purée , cover the pot and cook for while
3. Add in all the spices mentioned above. Cover and cook till the tomatoes cook.
4. Now add the beans (I’ve used canned beans otherwise you’d need to soak and cook them)
5. Pour water and cook for 5-10 mins or until the beans are fully cooked.
6. Garnish with some freshly chopped coriander and Enjoyy!!
