To make the recipe, you’ll need:
1 Carrots
1 onion
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow red pepper
gloves of garlic
1 pobalno pepper
1 Cubanelle Pepper
1 JalapeƱos pepper
Chili seasoning
2 Lbs of ground beef
1 can of beer
1 to 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 to 2 tps hot sauce
1 container of beef stock
2 pieces of dark chocolate
1/3 cup of brown sugar
Piece of Chili
Chili seasoning:
1 tbs Cayenne
1 tbs Garlic powder
1 tbs Coriander
1 tbs Red pepper flakes
1 tbs Cumin
1 tbs Paprika
1 tbs Chili powder
1 tbs Onion powder
1 tbs Pepper powder
For garnish:
Tortilla Strips
Fresh Cilantro
Pickled JalapeƱos
Here’s how to make it:
Blend the first 4 ingredients in a food processor until they are fine
Then add garlic, poblano pepper, cubanelle pepper, JalapeƱos pepper to food processor and blend everything.
Heat cast iron skillet on stove or campfire
Add the blended ingredients to the hot cast iron skillet.
Let it soften for couple of minutes
Add your ground beef to the cast iron
Add chili seasoning
Mix everything together
Add can of beer, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and beef stock
Add brown sugar, the two pieces of dark chocolate and the piece of chili
Mix everything
Let that cook for couple hours till it reduces.
Garnish your dish with tortilla chips, some cilantro and pickled jalapeƱos.
