Here is the recipe for my FAMOUS Hot Dog Chili-
Here are the ingredients I used:
2 lbs. of ground meat (turkey or beef)
2 tbsp. olive oil (plus 2 more if using ground turkey)
1 onion, diced finely
1 pepper, diced finely
4 tsp. garlic, diced finely
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 1/2 tbs. chili powder
2 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
3 cups beef or chicken broth (adjust to make the chili as thick as you like)
salt and pepper to taste
add flour to thicken if necessary

Cook ground meat. Remove from pan. Add olive oil, onions, and peppers to the same pan. Cook low and slow until onions are translucent. Add garlic and cook a few minutes longer on low heat being careful not to burn veggies. Add cooked meat back to pan along with all of the other ingredients. Bring to a low boil. Cook uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally or until chili is as thick as you prefer. Add a little flour to thicken if you get impatient;)
