Ultimate Pepper Choka Recipe – Tasty Tuesday’s | CaribbeanPot.com

In this episode of Tasty Tuesday’s we’ll go through the steps in preparing the ultimate pepper choka, which is basically the Caribbean version of an extremely fiery pepper salsa. Chris of Caribbeanpot.com will use a traditional recipe and add some of his signature touches to give you an amazing pepper choka, with smoky flavors and deep heat. With roasted scotch bonnet, seven pot and ghost peppers, this will be extremely spicy, but with the inclusion of the cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced onions and roasted garlic, you’ll get sweet undertones.

Note: Use mature green peppers!

For this pepper choka (pepper salsa) you’ll need…

4 scotch bonnet peppers
2 chocolate seven pot peppers ( 7 pod)
2 ghost peppers (bhut jolokia)
5 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 small red onion
1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
8-10 cherry tomatoes (optional)
