I added fresh guava and kumquats to mine and it taste and smells heavenly. Though I used habs and serrano instead…. I also added green onions and a dash of allspice.
How long is it good for and can you freeze it to extend its life
Would the heat be the same if I used 1 carolina reaper pepper instead of 2 ghost?
whats the yield on this recipe?
I’ll make it today, thanks…
forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what type of rum did you use? i really know nothing about rum, so maybe some suggestions or any help anyone could give me would be appreciated
Looks great, I’m gonna try this. What’s the real purpose of the rum? Is it for flavor?
I made the hot sauce. Delicious. Now, what foods do you suggest I put it on?
I'm on it cheers
Well, i am making this sauce right now. No pineapple, just Mangoes. I am using Carolina Reapers. Looks like Yummi and smell like Glory. Thanks for recipe 😀
Instead of water why not use a pine apple juice
What's the scoville on this sauce?
Would this be good on wings?
Yea, you might need to add some honey or bbq sauce to help it stick.
Great recipe. Much like a recipe that I do. Thanks for sharing! Shout out to St. Augustine!
Love it!
does this have any type of alcohol content/effects?
I'm gonna make this but grown men shouldn't say the Y word ever. 🙂
Kinda looks like a red habanero pepper.
looks awesome! is this shelf stable or goes to the fridge? how long can you store this sauce?
you americans and your quarter cups .. use militers so the rest of the world can understand..
I blend first, and then simmer on low heat for a couple hours.
Is there something you can substitute the rum with as we cannot do the alcohol bit.
This looks great! I have noticed though, that anytime you use rum in a sauce, you never say you taste it. Do you ever taste it? And what would you recommend if you would like that flavor to come through fairy well?
Worth trying!😊
I just made this today but also did it different. I used maybe 1.5 cups pineapple, 10 ghost peppers, no other peppers, and 2 tbsp honey, 1/4 cup mango. I simmered for about 30 mins cuz it was too liquid. But it's not as spicy as I would like. Why? It does taste pretty good still tho nice and sweet but a tickle in the heat department
Did u deseed the chillies or leave the seeds in
I am offended you only used two ghost peppers with that much sauce I would of added aatleast 10 ghost 👻. What is two ghost pepper gonna do to that sauce? NOTHING!!! unless it's for folk who bearly like to feel the burn
Thank you…so MUCH for using measurements. I've been just winging my sauce, it's good but I want to stick to a certain recipe. Thank you brotha
how long will this sauce last in the fridge?
Never seen ghost peppers like yours. They look like Caribbean Reds. My Ghosts have pronounced tails and wrinkled skin.
Just started harvesting my ghosts. This'll come in handy. Thank you
Why would you add oil to hot sauce?
Love this sauce, the cherry bourbon is great as well. Thank you for sharing these delicious recipes

Coconut milk would work with that too
I tried this with ghost peppers from my garden and it was amazing. Yes a little hot but not as bad as I thought. I loved it. Thank you for the recipe!!!
Great video. I made it and it came out awesome. I modified some of the things for my own taste. I replaced the vinegar with bottled lemon juice. I also used sailor Jerry's spiced rum. I added 2 extra ghost peppers. It was extremely hot but absolutely wonderful.
I’m gonna try this, I grew ghosts. It’s harvest and time to try . Like the richness of peppers and rum
Hope your eating it all yourself after double dipping used spoon.
