TACO TUESDAY – Chili Lime Tacos & Sriracha Crema

Perfect for a crowd or Mexican night, these tacos are flavorful, tender and quick to make. Packed with fresh lime, chili powder and honey – these tacos are SO much more exciting than the grocery store seasoning packets. Pair them with your favorite tortillas, cabbage slaw and this Sriracha crema for the perfect taco Tuesday. Enjoy!

RECIPE:
Ingredients-
6-8 Boneless Chicken Thighs
3 Cloves Garlic
2 Limes
½ Cup Olive Oil
1-2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbs Honey
2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
½ Tsp Pepper
1 Cup Sour Cream
½ Cup (depending on spice level) Sriracha

Method-
Put boneless chicken thighs in a bowl and in a separate bowl mix olive oil, the juice from one lime, apple cider vinegar, honey, minced garlic and spice mixture. Stir mixture and pour over chicken thighs. Allow mixture to sit in the fridge for at least 10 minutes or more. While the chicken is marinating – mix one cup of sour cream, the juice from one lime and ½ cup of Sriracha.
Heat a skillet on medium high heat and place the chicken thighs directly on the pan. Cook each side for 5-7 minutes or until the inside is no longer pink.
Assemble over tortillas, with a slaw mix and drizzle over the Sriracha crema.
