Prawn Pepper Fry Recipe

Dry Roast and Grind:

Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Coriander Seeds – ½ tsp
Black Peppercorns – 1 ½ tsp
Fennel Seeds – ¼ tsp

Other Ingredients:

Prawns (deshelled and deveined) – 250 grams
Small Onion (shallots) – 10 nos
Curry Leaves – 10 nos
Garlic – 5 Cloves
Ginger – ½ inch
Coconut Oil – 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp

Cooking Instructions:
– Cook the prawns until it is half cooked on a pan with turmeric powder and 1 tbsp of coconut oil
– Dry roast and grind into a fine powder, the ingredients under dry roast and grind.
– In a pan add 1 tbsp of coconut oil. Add shallots and finely chopped ginger and garlic. Cook until everything turns golden brown.
– Add the half-cooked prawns, toss in the ground spices, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, curry leaves and mix well until raw smell from Masala has gone.
– Serve hot as an appetizer.
