Beef & Bell Pepper Stir Fry (Recipe in Description)



10 oz beef
⅛ teaspoon baking soda (meat tenderizer)
1 tablespoon water
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Yellow onion (slice into wedges)
2 garlic cloves (chop finely
3 small bell peppers (cut into squares)
Green onions (slice into 2-inch segments)

Stir Fry Sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon cornstarch

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet.

Add yellow onion, whites of green onions and garlic. Saute until fragrant (about 20 seconds).

Add marinated beef. Saute until almost done.

Clear space in the center. Add bell peppers. Cook for one minute or until softened.

Add sauce. Toss to combine. Garnish with remaining green onions and a dash of ground black pepper. Serve with steamed rice.
