No Spend January Weekend 2 Plus My Favorite Chili Recipe

Another no spend weekend down as well as a full week. I went to Starbucks on a gift card and saw SING, my moms treat! We also accomplished a lot of organizing! Thanks for watching guys check down below for the chili recipe!

Chili Recipe:

-2 lbs of ground meat
( sometimes i use all turkey sometimes half turkey half 90% or higher ground beef)
-1 yellow onion
-1 pepper
-1 jalapeno (depending on desired heat)
-1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
-1 28 oz can of tomato sauce, or puree
-1 16 oz can of Kidney beans
-1 16 oz can of Pinto beans
-3 tablesoons chili power
-2 tsp cumin
-1 tsp oregano
-1 tsp parsley
-1/4 tsp cayenne (depending on desired heat)
salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions and peppers in skillet with olive oil.
Add meat and cook, I drain my meat before placing it in the crock pot to render out any extra fat.
place all other ingredients in crock pot and cook low 6-8 or high 4-6
It also simmers nicely on a stove top

**This is a great healthy recipe! I often use no salt added can ingredients and add my own salt to taste. I also prefer a more tomato based chili that is not to soupy and this is just that. Try not to add any sugary sauces to your chili like bbq sauce it may taste great but it is full of added sugar!!!!

** Breakfast macro tip: eat carbs, protein, and fat 30/20/10 DONT SKIP THIS MEAL and opt out of things like cereals, and pastries even brands that claim to be “healthy” are full of added ingredients and sugars that serve no purpose to our bodies
