  1. I just made this on Sunday. I ended up adding some of the juice back in and had enough to fill 1 jar of just juice

  2. I havebeen 7sing this chili base for 6 years. Love the convince of instant chili. Sometimes I add peppers as the flavor is mild.

  3. I have the pkg to make. Now do you have to drain the tomatoes because i don`t like thick chili.

  4. For those of us who can't buy the chilli base, could you please share the ingredients on the packet? 🙂

  5. Hi Linda! I bought some of that Mrs Wages chili base about a month ago, was going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day!

  6. Thanks, Linda. The chili base looks good. I am looking forward to the next video. I am a terrible chili maker. I hope this helps me. Also, I’m vegetarian… I know I can do this!

  7. I think Mrs Wages has to much of a citric acid taste to it. I used the salsa mix several years ago. Didn't like it, don't know about any of the rest.

  8. I love having a variety of items in my pantry. This is a great idea if you don’t want to pressure can chili. I recently pressure canned a small batch with hamburger and it turned out amazing. Of course making it spicier than normal.

  9. So glad to see this video. I had a similar reaction when reading the directions for the Mrs Wages spaghetti sauce. Pureed? Did I miss a step? Lol. I wasn't a huge fan of the spaghetti sauce because my family doesn't like spice and it was spicy. Glad I tried it before I canned it up.

  10. hi Linda. I love having my home canned chili and soups. I went through quite a time this year where my right leg was paralyzed, hat 2 major spine surgeries and ended up breaking my heel bone and now have my leg in a cast. Having canned so many soups and chilis made it easy for quick meals each time I came home. All I had to do was heat and eat. You never know when you are going to have a medical emergency like this come up. I was so thankful that I had canned all that soup, chili, and taco meat. I could feed myself without needing a home health aid. My favorite that I canned was bean and bacon. It is delicious!!!!!

  11. I love Mrs. Wages dill pickle mix. That's all I use. I bought the ketchup mix but haven't used it yet. Haven't tried the Chili starter, may use some of my homegrown tomatoes to make it this year.
