Greetings and welcome back to my kitchen
in this video I’ll love you to join me & let’s make the Habanero hot pepper oil for the first time.
ingredients used are the red & yellow Habanero 💛
ginger, garlic, star Anniseed, curry Leaves, salt to taste & of course oil.
method of preparation:
after removing the stem from the habanero cut into cubes to enable cooking. then add water & oil together with the other ingredients & cook till water Dries leaving only oil then start frying till brown
leave habanero in oil over night to infuse properly.
transfer habanero into sealed pepper bottles and use as desired.
habanero pepper is a fiery chili pepper with a fruity, citrusy flavor. It is prized for it’s level of heat, making it popular for making hot sauces, spicy salsas, and infusing both heat and flavor into many dishes. The peppers pods are small, typically 1-2 inches wide. They start off green on the habanero plants, but mature to a vibrant orange or red, depending on the variety.
Vitamins and Minerals in Habanero Peppers
The most impressive aspect of a habanero pepper’s nutrition is its vitamin C content. A single habanero pepper contains more than 100 percent of your recommended daily intake of vitamin C. The same pepper also contains a bit of vitamin A – 9 percent of your recommended intake – plus 4 percent of your recommended potassium intake, 3 percent of your recommended iron intake and a scant 1 percent of your recommended daily calcium intake.
Studies have shown that habanero can help with cholesterol, diabetes etc but please do your own research

Junior loves hot foods. We usually just cut peppers up and cook them with our meal. This hot pepper oil would be a great alternative and seasoning for dishes.

How many habenaro peppers (or lb) did you add in to how much of oil? I think there were too many of habenaro for the oil considering the hotness of the peppers.
I really liked using oil and water mix in the beginning to keep the coughing to min to none. A useful tip.
