Dr Pepper Baby Back Ribs – Electric Pressure Cooker Recipe

If you are looking for a Recipe for Pressure Cooker Baby Back Ribs, this Recipe may be for you. I made these Dr Pepper Ribs in my ICOOKPOT Pressure cooker. I was looking for tender Ribs, but not necessarily Fall Off The Bone Ribs. I cooked these Baby Back Ribs for 25 minutes and let the Pressure Cooker depressurize on its own. If you are going for something closer to fall off the bone ribs, you can cook for an additional 15 minutes.

  1. Lyle your truly the king of meat everything you cook turns out so delicious and your Dr pepper ribs are no exception they look saucy tender and delicious .

  2. Does the pressure cooker make the meat more tender? I used to use Dr. Pepper when I cooked roast beef in the crock pot. Yea. I would cook meat for my coworkers.

  3. Nicely done Lyle, they look good. I think I would still go with that brown sugar smoked ribs you did!

  4. Man I've been craving ribs…actually just got done having that conversation how I want some bbq ribs. Those looked so good.

  5. I like mine falling off the bone after 4 hours in the crockpot, but I'm gonna give the dr. pepper a try.

  6. Wow Lyle those looked fantastic. I like the Dr Pepper idea, I'll have to give that a shot. I did a pork butt the other day in my pellet smoker and used a can of Coke during the wrap stage. I think I wrapped it to early because I didnt get a lot of smoke flavor. I like my pellet smoker for ease of use but for real bbq and smoke flavor my go to is my octagon offset. Thanks Lyle and keep up the great videos.

  7. Ol my get back i no what im havin for dinner tonight that looked amazing i can already smell it thank you so much for another Awsome video

  8. I do this in a slow cooker all the time and looking forward to trying in pressure cooker. Here are my tips:

Skip the vinegar. Mix the DP and BBQ sauce before adding in. I'll use onion soup mix sometimes. BROIL in the oven on a cookie sheet (add more BBQ) for a few minutes AFTER cooking in pressure cooker. This will give it the caramelized/glaze like off the grill texture and taste.

  9. Looks great, "fallin apart" is overcooked. I will try this, because sometimes I don't have 3 hours to smoke em.
