CV Sciences National Educator, health and nutrition enthusiast and mom to one lucky kiddo Maggie Frank invites you into her kitchen to share her wholesome, healthy chili recipe that her son loves!
๐ถ๏ธ๐ MAGGIE’S GO-TO CHILI RECIPE ๐ถ๏ธ๐
Incredients:
16oz beef bone broth
1 lb ground grassfed beef
8oz portobello mushrooms finely chopped
1 red pepper finely chopped
1 green pepper finely chopped
1 white onion finely chopped
1 can chili beans drained and rinsed
1 can pumpkin
1 can tomato paste
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
3 tbsp minced or chopped garlic
1 package chili spices (mild/moderate or spicy)
1 tbsp grassfed butter
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 scoop viral proteins gelatin powder
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
*Sautรฉ onion, mushrooms, peppers in butter and coconut oil on low until onions are translucent add garlic
*Add ground beef and cook until brown
*Add nutritional yeast and chili spices
*Mix in tomato paste, pumpkin, beans and bone broth. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook down for 15 minutes
*Add gelatin and cook for 15 more minutes or until desired thickness is achieved
