For some reason the cotyledons are conjoined and it’s a first time for me having this happen. At first I thought they were stuck but they are for sure fused together, does this little guys still have a chance at surviving? And is this a mutation or did I cause this to happen?

I have not but seen it plenty (second picture in post)
I had one last spring just like that one but with 3 cotyledons. Weird how both of us had them in that shape.

They do grow a bit weird at first in my experience but they will produce like normal eventually.
