CrockPot Chili: Using What You Have On Hand

In our current time, it is hard to find some ingredients in the store. So that means that we have to do the best we can to make meals with what we have. In this video I’m showing you how I used what I had on hand to make chili in my crockpot. I had to substitute a few things and make it work.

Had to make chili powder because I didn’t have any. Here is what I used:
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
a few dashes of cayenne pepper
a few dashes of pepper

If you don’t like spicy, then you will want to cut down a bit on these. Mine was pretty spicy.

I cooked the chili for 4 1/2 hours in the crockpot and it was perfect. I ended up freezing half of it for later.
