what do you like to eat them with eg? meat?
How do they compare to green bell peppers? Flavor-wise. Are they something that can be used interchangeably with bell peppers? What color are they when they're ripe? Do they turn red, or another color, or do they stay green? On an impulse, I bought one little shishito pepper plant when I was at the nursery and have been delayed in getting all my plants in their containers. The Shishito plant has outgrown the other plants and has blossoms popping out of it all over. It's very vigorous and healthy-looking. I'm impressed with the plant itself. It will be good if it will produce all summer here because it's very hot where we live. (Southwest Louisiana.) How well do these peppers freeze? Thanks so much.
