hi I am currently an employer at taco bell I am 17 and this is my first job so I started working there right when I turned 16. I loved working there for a while but now I just cant do it anymore they never give me hours when I ask so I have been planning on quitting for months ive just been too scared bc idk how to even quit i never quit a job before. I thought of making a note and leaving it in the office for the manager or calling or texting because I barely even gets shifts and when I do its never with the general manager so I think I might just write a letter heres what I have so far (idk if this is a good letter to quit w or not help)

In addition to what people are saying about not needing to request to list them as experience on your resume, it is also highly illegal for a former employer to say anything to a potential employer of yours outside of the dates you worked there. So if you needed to quit right away, you could do that. Assuming you live in an āat-willā state. You may need to Google that part if youāre interested further
We had this girl stop showing up and we were like āoh ok, guess she quit. I wouldnāt even give them 2 weeks lol. You know why? Because when I decided to be the nice guy once , they didnāt schedule me for those two weeks. So basically wasted my time even mustering up the courage to formally resign. Few years later a factory id been with for 3 years , never missed a day, handed me a lay off notice. It was a 3 day notice handed to me on a Friday. So really I didnāt get any notice at all. These jobs donāt care about you. Fuck em all.
