🌼Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings
Ingredients
2 lb single chicken wings
1 cup shaoxing wine, Chinese cooking wine or dry sherry https://amzn.to/2z3jAU8
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp grated garlic, approximately 3 large garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt and black pepper plus more for later
1 cup potato starch or corn starch https://amzn.to/2ScK6Sy
frying oil
1/4 of onion
3 large cloves garlic
1 of each red and green chili
2 green onions
1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/8 tsp chicken powder, optional

  3. Chicken seasoning = MSG Which = king of flavour! You can just get some MSG (Monosodium glutamate)

  6. my god. these wings were heavenly… i made these tonight and can still hear my bf moaning about how good they were. sautéing the veggies with chicken powder really added to the depth of the flavor, at the end. can’t wait to make this again this week!

    A traditional Chinese dish that ALWAYS includes… Salt, black & white peppercorns and Sichuan peppers (AKA: Chinese prickly ash)

    I don't know what this is, but it ISN'T 'salt & pepper'.

  9. Hi Ya. I can't find Chicken powder in the UK, can I used a chicken stock cube instead.
    By the way I only use your recipes when making Asian dishes because they work every time

  11. I like how your recipes are authentic, for example specifying to use Shaoxing wine. I have seen videos on making chili oil but r other things and it doesn’t even mention that it’s a Chinese cooking technique.

    Edit: spoke too soon. It’s white pepper not black pepper.
