It’s the drink but it’s not the glitch it looks like you added it during happier hour and are checking out after happier hour which is a different circumstance

I’ve never had that happen during Happy Hour but I am known to make 2 separate orders back to back cause of rewards with a promo.

The price for the beefy melt (that’s your reward right?) looks like it changed too.. only $0.10 , but yeah the prices (<–edit) are doing weird things there. Like they readjusted to be slightly more expensive

u/kevinmattress had the correct answer, the happy hour pricing shouldn’t have been advertised at all as it was after 5pm. This app is just buggy and caused it to be misleading

There is a glitch, though in this case it’s not what’s happening, where a store has changed their Happy Hour price to $1.49 or $1.29 or whatever but it shows as $1 but on checkout it charges you $1.49 or whatever. It’s still Happy Hour as the normal $2.89 isn’t being charged but the app is not showing then local franchisee “updated” pricing.
My closest franchisee TB has this.

Go to Sonic for the happy hour drinks you get a bigger drink or slush and id say better. U have many more choices and on top of that the slushie don’t melt 10 minutes after you get it.

I can only assume they are leaving the happy hour drink glitch in purposefully. I noticed it two months ago and it continues today with its deceit!
You add a $1 drink since it’s a cheap deal and then don’t notice the extra couple dollars when it recalculates at the final step.
