Well, my own personal opinion is that del taco does have a fresher taste than Taco Bell.
This isn’t to say taco bell is disgusting because i enjoy it as well, but the two have very different tastes, and I do prefer the taste of del taco the most as they have a lot more variety and taste less processed than Taco Bell, I think. The cheese is freshly grated, for example, and you can see all of the whole ingredients like tomatoes and things right up front at the one I frequent. I’ve never seen the equivalent at Taco Bell.

I have three Taco Bell’s closer to me than Del Taco and I still drive further for Del Taco these days. Taco Bell is great when it’s right, but it’s too much of a gamble on quality for the price. Del Taco is way ahead on price and quality.

Shit… I make guac every now and then, and store the rest in a bag. I use that shit for days! Del taco is legit. But storing shit in a bag for ease of use is absolutely the smarter, more efficient way to go… So why does this streamline shit not correlate to lower prices? We’re fuckin fucked. Every way around the bush!
I still remember when they came frozen in canisters that had to be thawed out and then were loaded up into it’s own gun to be dispensed. When I eventually went back to TB, I saw the change to frozen bags and had a laugh
