So after I leave my weekly rec league I like to hit up my local taco bell. I put in a mobile order and headed to the store. Saw a couple cars in line so I pulled up. (This was a little over an hour before posted closing time). Sat there waiting for them to take my order and crickets. I finally chimed in and they responded saying they were closed. I had 2 cars behind me. Anyways, I looked at my app and it said the order was being made while I was sitting there. Since it was “being made” I couldn’t cancel my order for a refund. My app still says the order is ready. Do you think this means I can head there whenever and get my order days later or should I take this as a loss? This is two weeks in a row now that they closed early even though people keep pulling up in the drive thru.

I’d call corporate and see if you can get a refund while also telling them that they’re closing early.
I would try going inside, ask to speak to the manager on duty, tell them what happened, show them your ‘ready’ order on your phone, and hopefully they’ll happily fulfill your order.
For some reason I am unable to cancel orders on the app too so I have to login on safari/internet browser
I’ve experienced the same thing as you though, just last night! Posted closing time said 3 am and I was there right before midnight and they turned the lights off right as I pulled up. It’s crappy for sure
Email them! Every time I do they send me coupons for a free meal or something similar.
