Sun scald? Also should be fine to eat. I had eat anything that gets Sun scald and if it’s ripe enough, just put it in the mix.

I wouldn’t call it sun scald, scald actually destroys the flesh. I would call it more of a sun tan, lol! Completely normal and will turn red just like the others.

I’m not sure about this particular variety but a lot of peppers will turn blackish purple when they’re ripening from green to red. My Thai chilis and jalapenos do it all the time.

Anthocyanins cause buds to turn purple and black.
Little sun burn/tan haha
Most of my peppers do that from sweet to hot
