I knew when I opened it. It looked different. It smelled different and was thicker with a film on it.
I’ve been dairy free all my life and so I know how fake cheese tastes as well.
Imagine melted daiya, that’s what it tastes like. Smells like daiya cheese.

I think this also happened to me the other day, some weird tasting fake looking cheese. I was confused when I started eating the cheese, I just thought they had a bad batch. I powered through it but it was not appetizing.

to be fair, i’m pretty sure that most “real” commercial cheese sauces have minimal actual cheese, and utilize a lot of corn starch (or other thickener) to compensate.

whats daiya? i. guessing its sone kinda of vegan cheese, but im concerned about the ingredients, as my mom has a nut a allergy. ( and to a lesser extent me, so id have to take some benadryl, beforehand) so i hope taco bell isn’t contaminated now.

I wondered if I got the vegan cheese yesterday. I’ve eaten vegan cheese for years on and off and what I got def didn’t taste like the normal nacho cheese. It wasn’t completely awful, but I added hot sauce to it cause it was off putting. It would have been better if I had known it was the vegan kind than me wondering because it tasted different.
Is the vegan cheese taking over nacho? I dont want that shit.
