Today we’re making sausage and peppers rigatoni. I love traditional sausage and peppers, but I also love to make it with pasta for a full meal that the whole family loves. If you like it spicy use hot sausage or add some Calabrian chili paste. I hope you enjoy the recipe!

I grew up in NY but left many, many years ago…your cooking really brings me back. This food is deep in my heart – thank you!
We need to get you a really handsome apron!

I love your videos. I grew up in CT but have lived in California for over 25 years. You bring home a little closer. Great work
I’m from Staten Island and went to college at SUNY Albany
Wait, what's the special ingredient?
Jim, what part of Italy does your family come from?, by the way I have tried some of your recipes and I am quite satisfied, althought we don't have the same products you have in NY, we have to subistute, but my Italian grand mother taught me how to cook, she taught all the men in the family to be sufficient cooks, we where raised just like the girls were, we where taught to survive, as you guessed I was born in 1935 in Philadelphia…Thanks for the recipes, I have forgot how to cook some of these meals you present, cooking for one is hard to do, so I have alot of left overs…Do you still act?
Thank you! Enjoyed your video!
How many minutes is a minute before aldente
This came up in my feed and I made your recipe.
I didn’t have rigatoni so I used spaghetti.
Everyone loved it.
Thanks for sharing!
I just watched this and am amazed at how much James has grown in the most current videos. Kinda sad to see him shooting up and losing the sweet littleness boys' have. But he is a joy to watch at any age! One of my favorite dishes, with sweet sausage.
Dude, I love your videos. I have a request. Movies. What movies in a shortlist fashion, do you watch with the entire fam, you and your girl, and just you?
Hello! Why is it I never see you using pasta water, or wine, to "clean out the tomato paste and tomato cans"? Mt grandmother would not only "turn over in her grave," but she'd also crawl out of it just to slap me silly!
Looks delicious ❤
Does this need onion?

Just amazing!!!
Thanks for your easygoing, clear, delicious recipes. Love your channel!
Quick question-I noticed that the peppers were dry when you added them to the oil. Did you dry them off beforehand?
Just made this, man this is good. Will definitely make again.
Just made this with good vegan sausages. Beautiful. Easy with the water though, I went way too far.
Did you remove the casings before putting in oven? Twice recently I tried to slice garlic with a knife that was too big and sliced my fingernails. Figured out I need to use a smaller knife. Definitely trying this on the weekend.
if I was married to this man I would be 1000 pounds
Lovely recipe. I do not have a pan that size, so I'm figuring…just use less of everything!
What college?? I grew up in Albany. Still have family there.
What's the special ingredient🤔
Where do i get one of those gas burners?
Just made this tonight and it was awesome! The only thing is the rigatoni all ended up flattened when everything was mixed together.
Did I do something wrong, or is it supposed to do that? If the latter, makes me want to use a different kind of pasta next time because flat rigatoni is not visually appealing – to me, at least.
Made this a few times and eventually switched to using canned San Marsano peeled tomatoes instead of crushed and found it to be better. Found the crushed tomatoes to be too overpowering.
Has anyone ever told you that you resemble Keanu Reeves?
