  1. Lovely reciepe thx! <3
But i think its some very big tea/table spoond 🙂
How many ml is one of your tea and tablespons? 😀

  2. Made this the other day (along with a batch of simple light soy, worcestershire, brown sugar, onion+garlic powder, and cracked black pepper with red pepper flakes) and I must say it did not come out as good as simple red pepper & black pepper without the gimmic of the dr pepper & jalapeno. What is not good in my opinion, is the residual, almost bell-pepper-like flavor. I would probably just dehydrate some jalapenos and pulse them into flakes and then add them as a sprinkle on top of the recipe I just wrote above. I didn't care for the cooked bell peppery flavor…..kind of messed up the flavor of the meat but to each, his own. This is also more work because you must reduce the soda and then wait for all this to cool. It is more work and the flavor is not as good. Good luck jerky makers.

  3. I'm glad you got past the phase where all your thumbnails looked like the cover of the Tanya Tucker workout VHS. 🤪🤪🤪

  4. @heygrillhey I've made this a couple times and it's wonderful. I'm trying to do more restructured/ground beef jerky however and wanted to know how this can be adapted for that. Since this recipe makes a marinade for whole muscle, how would you change it so that I can do a restructured jerky? Thank you so much for all your recipes. They're fantastic!

  5. Tried beef jerky in the US and with all due respect it sucks. Try South African biltong, there is no substitute

  6. My nephew and I did this recipe with elk and man, it was freaking delicious.

  7. When ever I bbq beef I always fill a spray bottle with Dr.Pepper and give the meat a spritz every time I open the cooker.
Creates the best bark on bbq!
Even people who hate DP love the bbq.

  8. Just tried this yesterday for the first time. Two pounds of London Broil thinly sliced and followed recipe to the letter. It was a HUGE hit with family and friends; it's nearly gone! I've been asked to make more of it by a self-professed jerky snob and a few others. Thank you for sharing!

  9. Made your recipe last weekend ..turned out great! I put a bit too many peppers 😅😅😅 LOVE YOUR CHANNEL

  10. Tried this today. Lack flavor other than the smoke. The last recipe I used with teriyaki and orange juice as the bad was much better

  11. 2 weeks🤣 it's not likely to last that long, because it will be all gone 😊

  12. I do similar in my oven cracked open to run 150F. Once you get it, you'll experiment with flavors and never buy store jerky again. I'm not kidding. But beware, it disappears quickly!

  13. Hey… question.. I got the Dr. pepper up my nose.. Jalapenos rather not say where but im in a lot of pain.. any tips?… Dog ate my Beef before I could get it on the grill… guess that was easy with me laying on the floor in agony.. thanks!
