– 2 big seasoning cubes
– 2 onions (preferably red onions)
– 3 teaspoons ground ehu
– Habanero or Scotch bonnet peppers (to taste)

👋🏾In order to preserve my scent leaf, basils, or other various herbs/leafy greens. I love to blanch them, it preserves the flavor and color after the enzymes have been killed off. Blanching only takes a few seconds in boiling water, then into a cold ice bath to shock them. After that, one could store them in the freezer by drying them first and placing them between wax or parchment paper. My favorite is to blend (using a blender) them and put into ice cube trays/silicone molds (remove and store in ziplock, etc). Anytime they're needed, they are ready with their fresh, green color!👩🏾🍳🌱👍🏽😋🌿✨️😍😋💚
