Ate at Culturas Hidalgo y Oaxaca in Salinas, California yesterday. First time having huitlacoche (was in the quesadilla on the right in the pics). Amazing food right off the 101 in Salinas – highly recommend!

   Tamal*. The funniest thing is Hidalgo and Oaxaca are nowhere near geographically nor culturally, let alone culinary.
